Warranty Policies

1. Warranty Period

Customers within the European Union

All new products sold by Margarita 3D2 to consumers within the European Union are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for the period established by the applicable legislation in each country, which shall be a minimum of 2 years under European regulations.

The applicable warranty period may be longer in certain Member States. In Spain, the legal warranty period for new goods is 3 years.

The legal guarantee covers lack of conformity, manufacturing defects, or any other lack of conformity under the terms established by applicable law.

Where a lack of conformity covered by the legal guarantee exists, the consumer may exercise the rights provided by law, including, where applicable, the repair or replacement of the product and, in cases provided for by law, a price reduction or termination of the contract.

Customers outside the European Union

For consumers located outside the European Union, Margarita 3D2 provides a 12-month commercial warranty from the date of receipt of the product, unless the mandatory laws of the consumer's country establish a longer warranty period or additional rights.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects and applicable lack of conformity in accordance with the terms of this Warranty Policy.

The 12-month commercial warranty is in addition to any rights the consumer may have under the mandatory laws applicable in their country and does not seek to limit such rights.

Important

The warranty periods stated above do not cover damage resulting from improper use, incorrect installation, modification of the product, accidents, normal wear and tear, or exposure to environmental conditions for which the product has not been adequately protected, in accordance with the conditions set out in this Warranty Policy.

In particular, for parts intended to be exposed to sunlight, seawater, salt, or moisture, the protection recommendations provided by Margarita 3D2 must be followed.

2. Products Manufactured Using 3D Printing

Due to the nature of 3D printing manufacturing processes, minor differences may occur between individual units in aspects such as:

  • Color or surface finish.
  • Texture.
  • Minor marks resulting from the manufacturing process.
  • Dimensional tolerances inherent to the printing process.

These characteristics shall not, by themselves, constitute a lack of conformity when they fall within the reasonable characteristics and tolerances of the advertised product.

3. Damage, Wear and Tear, Environmental Exposure and Product Protection

The legal guarantee does not cover damage or defects resulting from improper use, incorrect installation, modification of the product, accidents, impacts, normal wear and tear, or use of the product under conditions other than those for which it was designed.

For parts intended for use on boats, personal watercraft, or other vehicles regularly exposed to outdoor conditions, 3D-printed parts must be adequately protected with paint or a suitable coating before installation and use when they will be exposed for prolonged periods to sunlight, seawater, salt, moisture, or other harsh environmental conditions.

This protection is necessary to preserve the properties and finish of the material against prolonged exposure to such conditions.

Damage, deterioration, deformation, changes in finish, or degradation of the material resulting from prolonged exposure to ultraviolet radiation, seawater, salt, moisture, or other environmental agents, where the product has not been adequately protected with the recommended coating, may be excluded from the warranty, provided that such damage is a consequence of the lack of protection and in accordance with applicable law.

The requirement to apply paint or a protective coating does not limit the consumer's legal warranty rights where a lack of conformity exists for which the seller is legally responsible.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To request assistance regarding a possible lack of conformity, the customer must contact Margarita 3D2 via:

Email: margarita3d2@gmail.com

We recommend including the following information with the request:

  • Order number.
  • Buyer's name.
  • Description of the problem.
  • Photographs or videos that may help assess the defect, where necessary.

Once the request has been received, Margarita 3D2 will assess the case and inform the customer of the applicable procedure.

5. Warranty Costs

When a defect is covered by the legal guarantee, the applicable remedies will be provided in accordance with applicable law and without undue cost to the consumer.

Transportation, repair, replacement, or other costs necessary to remedy a lack of conformity shall be borne by Margarita 3D2 where legally required.

6. Warranty and Right of Withdrawal

The legal guarantee is independent of the right of withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal allows consumers to return certain products purchased online within the applicable statutory period, whereas the legal guarantee applies where there is a lack of conformity of the product.

For information regarding returns and the right of withdrawal, please refer to our Returns and Refund Policy.

7. Purchases Outside the European Union

For orders placed by consumers located outside the European Union, the applicable consumer protection laws of the relevant country shall apply, without prejudice to Margarita 3D2's terms and conditions of sale.

8. Legal Rights

This Warranty Policy does not limit or exclude any rights granted to consumers under applicable law.

In the event of any conflict between this policy and a mandatory consumer protection law, the rights established by such legislation shall prevail.
